How does this work?

You: Okay, I want photos and you seem cool. Now what?

Stacey: That is fabulous! Okay, pick what type of photos you are looking for: Family, Maternity, or Newborn, then fill out my Contact Form! I will reply and work out the details with you on the best date, suggest locations and then send over an e-contract and deposit invoice. Once the deposit and contract are signed, you are locked in! I will send a questionnaire to get to know you and your family a bit more before our session.

You: That sounds easy. Is everything online?

Stacey: Yes! I actually struggle finding time for phone calls between snuggling my kids and working full time (likely a lot like you!)

You: That is exactly how I feel. Can you tell me more about how each photo session works though?

Stacey: Yes! Look below for information on how the flow for each type of session goes. If you have more questions I also have a handy FAQ page.

You: What about your pricing? Do I only get a certain number of photos?

Stacey: You can find all my pricing information on my pricing page. My packages are all-inclusive, which means that the price you see is the price you pay (plus tax of course). When I deliver the images, all that I deliver to you are yours! I love delivering big galleries to families so they can see all the sweet, precious moments we captured.

  • You just had a baby. You are sleep-deprived, bleary eyed and exhausted. I get it! Why drag your whole family out to some studio where you hope the older siblings will sit pretty and behave?

    I bring all my gear to you! Props, backdrops, wraps, headbands, hats, basket fillers, posing stand and lights. No need to leave the house while we capture some adorable little moments of your newborn all curled up.

    These posed newborn photo sessions are roughly 3 hours long and include candid family photos and baby photos of your newborn all curled up in sweet, simple poses.

    This style of newborn portrait is best captured between 3 days and 14 days old.

    The posed style of newborn photos are a much longer session, typically 3 hours. The majority of the work falls on me though. As a parent at this session, I need you there to feed the baby and capture family photos, but that is it. Many parents relax and enjoy watching the process of me wrapping and posing their little baby. Some even take a nap!

    Set this type of session up early! I only take a certain number of newborns a month. So let’s get you locked in with a contract before baby arrives. Once they are born, we will set up the specific date.

    After the date is set, I will send over a Newborn Session Prep Guide and ask you for your preferred colors for baby’s wraps and backdrops.

    On the day of the session, I will bring all my gear (typically takes me three trips to the car) and set up a studio in your home. Ideally a 5 x 5 space is needed, but more is great. I will bring a suitcase full of wraps and backgrounds that match your color choice and let you pick the ones we use with your baby.

    I have worked with hundreds of babies and am really good at navigating all the emotions your family will be working through. I love sharing in the struggles and the joys of new parents. These sessions allow me to form friendships with my photo families and I love it!

  • I come to your home and capture you all just being you as a family.

    Yes, you can absolutely do photos in your own home and not clean every single surface. We will pick just a few areas to do photos in and hide things in the closet or bathroom. Your home can absolutely look this well lit and beautiful. Just like your precious baby!

    This style of newborn photography is best captured between 10 days and 45 days old.

    If you love the posed style, I am happy to bring prop with me to capture a photo of your baby in a bucket too.

  • The family photos that I capture will candid and full of fun. We will PLAY. We will LAUGH. When I work with families, I get down on the ground, I sing, I dance, I play with the kids. Come to a Lifestyle Family Photo session ready to play with your kids.

    Wear comfy clothes and shoes that you can move in so that we can embrace the connection that you and your family share. Be ready to have the most fun you have ever had at a portrait session!

    After we set up our session together, I will send you a set of questions so I can get to know your family more. You will also get some suggestions on what to wear.
    If you want to bring y our pup- go for it! I do have a neutral colored leash I let families use during the session. Please bring treats for your pup as well.

    Don’t worry about your family behaving. I have handled all kinds of kids and am really patient with shy kids and am skilled at directing energetic kids too. We will have a great time if you come ready to cherish your kids and love on them. :-)
